Anti Sexual Harassment Committee

(Also known as the Internal Complaints Committee – ICC)

The Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee is constituted in accordance with the guidelines of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee aims to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students, faculty, and staff by preventing and addressing issues related to sexual harassment.

Objectives:

• To prevent sexual harassment through awareness programs, sensitization workshops, and policy enforcement.
• To address complaints related to sexual harassment promptly, confidentially, and fairly.
• To promote gender equality and respect across campus through educational initiatives.
• To ensure compliance with legal and institutional guidelines for workplace and campus safety.
• To recommend actions and institutional changes to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

The committee consists of faculty members, a legal expert, student representatives (where appropriate), and an external member from an NGO or legal background as per legal requirements.
